Jerry has over twenty years of civil engineering experience with his expertise being in drainage and water quality design. His educational achievements include receiving his Bachelors of Science with Honors in Civil Engineering and his Masters of Science in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from the University of Texas. His years in the industry have equipped him with the ability to provide creative solutions for complex project issues. Jerry maintains excellent relationships not only with clients but city officials as well. Accountability, accessibility, and charisma are Jerry's key traits that enable him to best serve his clients,city officials, and the Perales Engineering team. When he isn't busy working, he enjoys fishing, meditating, and horseback riding in Mexico!
Sister to Jerry, Julia joined the family business last summer as a project manager. Julia received her undergraduate degree in Political Science in 1995 and her juris doctorate in 1998 from The University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation she joined her father's law practice and specialized in social security, disability, and employment law. In 2007, Julia began teaching elementary school at St. Peter Prince of Apostles School in San Antonio. Julia plays a unique and vital role in the success of PE and we couldn't be happier to have her on board! She is also a mother of four and married to film writer and director Scott Leisk.
